This is a very bright light. in fact, it is the brightest one that I own. I rated this 4 stars because of two things. 1. The control interface is too confusing for me. I wish these flashlight manufacturers would keep switch operations simple. three, maybe four different light settings is all it needs. Also, I don't particularly appreciate that it comes with a proprietary charging cable. If you lose that, then you're out of luck. This is an incredible flashlight. It's very bright, the adjustable zoom is easy to use and provides a great range of focus, and you can tell that the materials are top quality. It's easily my favorite flashlight after using it for a few days. I have a dedicated spotlight and this flashlight easily matches the light output while being much more versatile . My only complaint is that the instructions for programming it are horrible. It offers different modes and flashing patterns, but after spending nearly half an hour of counting button presses I have no idea how to actually get to them.
