I have submitted twice the question if you can charge with a different cable; my question just disappeared. So honestly; i would hate to get this light and pull it out 5 years in five years; but be unable to charge it because i lost the cord. I could see that happening. I mean if you have an emergency; maybe you would want to easily find places to charge it. So, deal breaker for me. Otherwise looks like a great lite; but that is stupid design to have that magnetic charging cord in my view. so, i am going back to other companies. Fenix makes great lights; and some others. this is the third time i have asked about this; and it seems Ledlenser doesn't want this question posted. Its not a good sign for a company. Only the low setting seems to come on,however, even that seems to be far too dim to be usable. I hope that this can be resolved soon. I was so excited to get this light this week, but so far I'm very disappointed. For $217.00US I expected so much more.
