This headlamp is absolutely unbelievable! I have a Brunton camouflage headlamp that has a regular strap with 2 compartments toward the back that hold 2 double AA batteries in each compartment, it also has a separate unit that you can plug into this headlamp to bypass those 2 sets of double AA battery compartments and use a 4 C battery compartment which you would put in a pocket and that would power the Brunton headlamp. Worried that one day this Brunton would no longer work I went to try and get another one and they no longer make them. (It still works) Anyway, while looking for the Brunton that no longer is sold I found the is Ledlenser H19R Core Rechargeable. This headlamp is absolutely incredible. Really powerful and extremely bright light. Remember I am using this headlamp for the recovery of deer in total darkness after a successful evening hunt. This light will completely light up the woods. I should try to put together a short video because if I did, I think people interested in purchasing a good headlamp would definitely purchase this one. If one was to use hiking or biking I would say they could probably just use the low or mid range light option on this because high would probably be a bit much.
