Same light. One hand. [Get the P7R](/content/products/p7r-flashlight/index.html) $139.952,000 lumens · 80 hours · IP68 Rechargeable via USB-C. Replaceable 21700 cell. Free shipping over $50. Wide at your feet is a different job than far down the trail. One light, both jobs. ## Both ends of this range are the same flashlight We call it the Advanced Focus System. It is one movement of the head. The beam goes from wide enough to light everything in front of you, to narrow enough to reach a treeline three football fields away. Head pushed forward 35meters A wide flood. The ground, the dog, the steps, the whole width of the trail lit at once. One twist Head pulled back 320meters A tight spot. The far fence, the treeline, whatever just moved at the edge of the property. **2,000 lm** Max output **80 h** Max runtime **IP68** Dust and water **2 m** Drop tested ## Most flashlights are built for one job They either let you see up close. Or they shoot a beam into the distance. But what if you wanted both? And it was easy to switch between the two? ★★★★★ > “Very intense and focused beam. Too bright for close range use but the spread beam is great up close.” Richard T. · Verified customer 197 grams, five inches, one hand on the head. ## How the focus works It is not a brightness setting and it is not a second LED. The lens physically moves in front of the emitter, so the same light gets reshaped instead of dimmed. You lose nothing at either end. _01_ **Push the head forward** The lens sits close to the LED and the beam opens out into a broad, even flood. This is the setting you walk on, work on, and read a map by. _02_ **Pull the head back** The lens travels away from the LED and the beam collapses into a column. Same 2,000 lumens, concentrated, reaching out to 320 meters. _03_ **Everything between** You can stop anywhere in between and it stays there. Our Multi Core Optics keep the middle of the beam filled in, so you never get a dark spot in the center. ## The P7R, up close The light in hand, in under a minute. Rechargeable. The last flashlight you’ll ever need. The focus is why you buy it. These are the other six things worth knowing before you do. **Waterproof** Rated IP68 and sealed at every seam. Rain, snow, or dropped in a puddle, it keeps working and it keeps the dust out too. **The battery is replaceable** Most rechargeable lights are throwaways. When the cell finally ages out, this one takes a new 21700 and keeps going, so a dead battery costs you a battery. **USB-C charging** The same cable as your phone and your laptop. No proprietary dock to lose, no magnetic tail to hunt for. **2,000 to 25 lumens** Four levels. Boost when you need the whole field, 25 lumens when you need to not wake the house. **Transport lock** The Mode Select Ring locks the switch, so it does not come on in a pack and arrive flat. **75% recycled aluminium** Aircraft grade housing, 197 grams, 2 meter drop tested, minus 20 to plus 40 degrees Celsius. Rated IP68. Rain, snow, dropped in a puddle.A dead battery costs you a battery, not a flashlight.5.0 inches. 197 grams. Fits a jacket pocket. ## Owners on the focus Verified reviews from our customers. We have pulled the ones about the beam, because that is the claim we are making here. ★★★★★ > “Love the power of the spot beam and the flood beam.” Alistair P. _Verified customer_ ★★★★★ > “Simple operation, sturdy construction, and provides massive illumination for its size. Wide and narrow beam focus is an added plus.” Chris M. _Verified customer_ ★★★★★ > “I used it at my last camping trip in the forest. The brightness was good and a spot light was good distance.” Sasiwimon B. _Verified customer_ ★★★★★ > “Color, brightness, and light focus can be adjusted easily and quickly.” C. W. _Verified customer_ ★★★★★ > “I have had mine for a few years and I bought a backup in case. Powerful and so great for dark night dog walks.” Sima _Verified customer_ ★★★★★ > “I do like the new refinements of the P7R. USB-C, switch lock.” Victor H. _Verified P7R customer_ Swipe for more ## Which P7R should you get All three focus. All three are IP68 and charge over USB-C. The difference is how hard a life the light is going to have. Most people ### P7R $139.95 - Max output **2,000 lm** - Beam range **35 to 320 m** - Max runtime **80 hours** - Rating **IP68** Home, property, camping, the truck. The longest runtime of the three and the one we would put in a coat pocket. [Get the P7R](/content/products/p7r-flashlight/index.html) ### P7R Pro $159.95 - Max output **2,000 lm** - Beam range **35 to 320 m** - Max runtime **60 hours** - Rating **IP68** Built for tunnels, turbines and sites. More output, more reach, and the finish to match. Get it if you want the best version of this light and not the sensible one. [See the Signature](/content/products/p7r-signature-flashlight/index.html) ## Covered for 7 years Two years from the day it ships, and seven once you register your light with us. Registration takes about a minute. Do it the day it arrives, while the serial number is still in front of you. **7** **Years of warranty, once you register.** We have been building focusing flashlights in Solingen, Germany since 1993. The P7 is one of the lights that made our name. This is the current version of it. ## Straight answers Does the focus lose light at either end? No. The lens moves in front of the LED and reshapes the beam instead of blocking it. You are moving the same 2,000 lumens between a 35 meter flood and a 320 meter spot. Our Multi Core Optics are the part that keeps the middle of the flood filled in rather than leaving a dark hole in the center. Is it one hand? Yes. Thumb and forefinger on the head, push forward or pull back. You can do it while you are holding a leash, a rail or a tool. What happens when the battery dies? You replace the cell. It is a standard 21700 pack that comes out of the body, so a worn battery costs you a battery instead of a flashlight. Charging is USB-C, the same cable as your phone. Will it survive rain, or being dropped? Yes. It is rated IP68, so it is sealed against water and dust. It is drop tested to 2 meters, and rated to work from minus 20 to plus 40 degrees Celsius. P7R or P7R Pro? Same beam, same range, same rating. Take the standard P7R for home, property and outdoor use, because it runs longer, 80 hours against 60. Take the Pro if the light is going to work for a living, because it adds removable protective bumpers, higher CRI natural white light, a charging station and a belt bag. How fast does it ship? From our US warehouse, and shipping is free on orders over $50. ## One flashlight. Every distance.
