Outdoor work needs sealing you can check before you buy. Our HF8R Work and HF6R Work headlamps have protective elements at the front and are suitable for continuous immersion in water (IP68), with a 2 m drop test and a -20 to +40 °C operating range. The H15R Work headlamp uses our Flex Sealing Technology for superior protection against dust and water (IP67), survives a 3 m drop test, adds a rubber cover and protective lens screen against impact, and is also microbe resistant.
On the flashlight side, the P18R Work is IP54 — protected against water projected in powerful spray — in an aluminum-alloy housing with rubber covers on the head and end cap and a lens shield against impact and dirt, and it delivers flicker-free constant light with a 720 m maximum beam. Our compact W-Series work lights, including the W1R Work and W5R Work, are IP54 with non-slip housings for wet, dirty outdoor conditions. For work near explosive gases, vapours or dust, our EX and iL intrinsically safe series meet the Ex and IECEx standards.
