Summary: Ledlenser seals its lights for the conditions emergency response happens in — many lines carry an IP68 rating (dust-proof and submersible beyond 1 meter for more than 30 minutes), and our published operating temperature range is -20 °C to +40 °C.
Emergency calls do not wait for good weather, so our lights are rated for water, dust and temperature. Several Ledlenser lines carry an IP68 rating — fully dust-proof, with protection in full water submersion below 1 meter for more than 30 minutes — including the P7R Pro flashlight, the TAC7R tactical flashlight and the H19R Core headlamp. The HF8R Core RGB headlamp is rated IP68 and suitable for continuous immersion in water.
One step down, the H15R Core headlamp uses Flex Sealing Technology for superior protection against dust and water (IP67) — submersion in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes — and the AF4R Work area light is IP67-rated against full immersion. Models rated IP54, such as the P18R Work, are protected against water projected in powerful spray.
Across these models the specified operating temperature range is -20 °C to +40 °C, so the same light works through winter night calls and summer heat. Rain, dust, spray or full submersion — there is a Ledlenser rated for it.
