This headlamp is absolutely unbelievable! I have a Brunton camouflage headlamp that has a regular strap with 2 compartments toward the back that hold 2 double AA batteries in each compartment, it also has a separate unit that you can plug into this headlamp to bypass those 2 sets of double AA battery compartments and use a 4 C battery compartment which you would put in a pocket and that would power the Brunton headlamp. Worried that one day this Brunton would no longer work I went to try and get another one and they no longer make them. (It still works) Anyway, while looking for the Brunton that no longer is sold I found the is Ledlenser H19R Core Rechargeable. This headlamp is absolutely incredible. Really powerful and extremely bright light. Remember I am using this headlamp for the recovery of deer in total darkness after a successful evening hunt. This light will completely light up the woods. I should try to put together a short video because if I did, I think people interested in purchasing a good headlamp would definitely purchase this one. If one was to use hiking or biking I would say they could probably just use the low or mid range light option on this because high would probably be a bit much. (Originally posted on Amazon)

Honest opinion
well the product is nice BUT it really needs to come with a pouch and since the wire to the battery is there just make it longer and have the batt on a belt clip not in your head. I think it would make the product over the top

Q:I have several high-quality 18650 (3.7v) batteries. In a pinch, can 2 of them be used in place of the 7.4v battery pack that comes with this unit (and similar models)? I'm aware that using poor quality/conterfiet batteries could be disaterous, but if I'm confident they are genuine Samsung/LG/Nitecore/etc. 18650s, would they fit and work? Thanks for your help in advance!

Q:Max output is 3500 lm with both lenses turned on. Is it known what is the power of each of 2 lenses individually? I am asking that because I want to compare it with H15R Core. Is the lens of H15R Core stronger compared to each of H19R Core lenses individually? Thank you for your answer

You are correct it is the total measurement with both lenses.
The H15R is ever so slightly stronger with its single lens.
