Rechargeable

By using rechargeable batteries, you're not just protecting your wallet, but also the environment. Regular batteries, after all, require up to 500 times more electricity to produce than they can release themselves. Combined with the energy consumption for transport and storage, the CO2 emissions are huge.

Best of the Best

I love this headlamp. I use it on my boat when I'm crabbing through the entire night in the pouring rain. I also use it for salmon fishing on the Columbia River. It's also great when I'm razor clamming. The weather is tough out here and I have never had a problem with the light. I actually purchased a 2nd battery thinking I would need it going through the night. Ive never even taken the 2nd battery out of the package. This is the 2nd HR19 headlamp I have purchased. I was tired of my mates on my boat having issues with their headlamps, so I purchased a 2nd one.

Q:I have several high-quality 18650 (3.7v) batteries. In a pinch, can 2 of them be used in place of the 7.4v battery pack that comes with this unit (and similar models)? I'm aware that using poor quality/conterfiet batteries could be disaterous, but if I'm confident they are genuine Samsung/LG/Nitecore/etc. 18650s, would they fit and work? Thanks for your help in advance!

A:Hello Andrew.

I don't believe that will work. I recommend just buying a replacement battery pack. https://www.ledlenserusa.com/collections/batteries-charging/products/2x-21700-li-ion-rechargeable-battery-pack

Thank you,

Q:Max output is 3500 lm with both lenses turned on. Is it known what is the power of each of 2 lenses individually? I am asking that because I want to compare it with H15R Core. Is the lens of H15R Core stronger compared to each of H19R Core lenses individually? Thank you for your answer

Ledlenser USA 04/16/2021

A:Hello Mike,

You are correct it is the total measurement with both lenses.

The H15R is ever so slightly stronger with its single lens.

Thank you,

Thomas
